When you come to work for the Maryland Judiciary, you and your family may benefit from our medical, prescription, dental and vision coverage. You may also be eligible for life, accidental death and dismemberment and long-term care insurance plans at low group rates. Our generous leave package includes from 10 to 25 days of annual (vacation) leave per year, depending on seniority, as well as six personal days per year. In addition, the State offers eleven paid holidays (12 in the years of a state-wide general election) and fifteen days of sick leave per year. Our leave policies also adhere to the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 and other applicable federal and Maryland laws.
